A pair of exquisitely well-chased bronze post lanterns in their original worn silverplate finish. The square plinths support leaf banded bases and tapered fluted column shafts. The leafy capitals terminate in hexagonal bases for the twelve-sided lantern tops glazed with hammer textured clear glass. The frames are made of reed and ribbon banding and are topped with foliate cups and berried finials. From a Saratoga, New York estate. Due to the antique nature of this fixture, there may be some nicks or imperfections in the glass.
